As societal definitions of authenticity evolve, audiences increasingly seek originality and uniqueness in visual content. Americans are twice as likely to trust visuals shared by family and friends over those from influencers, emphasizing the need for genuine representation. Visual testing indicates that showcasing distinct personalities and interests is crucial for engagement, particularly within LGBTQIA+ contexts, where a focus on individuality and relatablity has as much as three times the resonance as generic visuals.
