Tokyo Olympic Games 2020 Stadium soon to be finished
People are seen walking in the area of the National Stadium of Tokyo. Fifty-six years after having organised the Olympic Games, the Japanese capital will be hosting a Summer edition for the second time, from 24 July to 9 August 2020.
The National stadium is with unique design, the wood-lattice building, estimated to cost $1.29 billion, would be completed near the end of November in 2019. The stadium is rised on the same site as the stadium for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics—the first such event held in Asia. The new one stadium is designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma.
