The 'migunit', A concrete facility with a box like form, put simply along the streets using a crane, can contain 10+ people. The town of Sderot is located one kilometer from Gaza Strip. A "Red Color" alarm system has been implemented to warn citizens of imminent rocket attacks (usually Qassam rockets). Due to the proximity of Gaza strip, civilians have between 10-15 seconds to reach a shelter after the sounding of the "Red Color" alarm, an early warning radar system installed in all the towns surrounding the Gaza Strip.
