The famous Kuta beach lies on the western side of a narrow isthmus on Bali Island, Indonesia. People congregate on the beach to play games such as beach soccer as the sun sets over the ocean in the afternoon. With ongoing volcanic activity spewing volcanic ash into the skies from surrounding islands of Java and Lombok, the sunsets often have a distinctive orange glow.
