NOV 24 1975, NOV 25 1975, NOV 26 1975 Turnout Sparse At Thornton City Council's First Official Meeting In New City Hall The 16,500-square-foot facility at 8992 Washington St. opened Monday. The remodeling and enlarging of the former North Valley Bank building, including the cost of the purchasing the building and land and the addition of a second story, cost the city $700,000. The old city hall at 9471 Dorothy Blvd. will be converted into a public safety facility and will house the police and fire department's. Penner Building Systems was city hall contractor.
