(Original Caption) This is is a general view of the harbor and city at Singapore, which may be the next target for Jap bombers, as Nipponese troops landed in Malaya, North of the city. sailing craft in Prau Harbor (upper left); ocean vessels in detached mole, (upper right); ocean vessels or deeper draft at wharves in Keppel Harbor, (right); street at left is Bras Basah Road, to left of which at far end, facing Prau Anchorage, is Raffles Hotel. Sports ground in foreground belongs to YMCA, (invisible at right); white domed structure, (extreme right foreground) is Raffles Museum, fronting on curving Stamford Road. High spire (right center) belongs to St. Andrews Cathedral, (Episcopalian); black dome (extreme right top) is supreme Court, to left of which is Fullerton Building (General Post Office) and to right, Tower of Victoria Memorial Hall.
