The Netherlands team of (L-R) Hinkelien
Shanghai, CHINA: The Netherlands team of (L-R) Hinkelien Schreuder, Inge Dekker, Chantal Groot and Magdalena Veldhuis celebrate their win in the Women's 4 x 100 freestyle final with a world record time of 3:33.32, during the 8th FINA World Short Course Swimming Championships, held at the Qi Zhong stadium in Shanghai, 08 April 2006. Swimming chiefs have brushed off concerns about the poor turn-out by big names with Michael Phelps, Ian Thorpe, Grant Hackett, Aaron Piersol and Pieter van den Hoogenband all staying away. The championships -- using a 25-metre pool instead of the usual 50 metres -- have attracted athletes from a record 117 countries.
