OCT 30 1971, N0V 3 1971 Surprise Visit At Kunsmiller A total of $261.35 in pennies was collected at Kunsmiller Junior High School, 250 S. Quitman, for the United Way fund drive. And the class which collected the most pennies was rewarded with a surprise visit by the police helicopter. The seventh graders, the winners, greeted the helicopter as it circled the area above the school, blowing its siren. An officer talked to students, above, while later on Officer Jim Egan posed with class officers. In front is Linda Hill. Standing, from left, are Carolyn Moore, Angela Jones and Jim Armstrong.
