Tasaday Tribal Family
One family of the stone age Tasaday tribe in a cave on Mindanao Island, Philippines. The small Tasaday tribe was discovered in 1971 and featured in National Geographic Magazine and protected by the Philippine government. In 1986, after the fall of the Marcos regime, the Tasaday tribe of cave dwellers was uncovered as a hoax created by Manuel Elizalde as a way to extort money.
