FEB 3 1936 ‘My Baby! My Baby! They have given you back to me!” That was the cry of Mrs. Claudia Van Gordon (facing the cam­era in this picture) in the west side courtroom Sunday as she threw her arms about her daugh­ter, Mary Elizabeth Smith, who had just been acquitted of the charge of murdering her husband, Robert D. Smith.
