(Original Caption) Mr. Hockey, balding Gordon Howe (9) celebrates his birthday 3/31 with some regret- not at turning 47 but at retiring "for good" the second time. The former NHL All-Star joined the WHA Houston Aeros with his two sons two seasons ago, coming out of retirement after 25 years with the Detroit Red Wings. Howe is in the center of the action during a recent game with the Quebec Nordiques in Houston.
