Memorial to General Sir Ralph Abercromby, circa 1801 (1904). Sir Ralph Abercromby (1734-1801) was a Scottish soldier and politician, noted for his services during the Napoleonic Wars. He commanded the British Expeditionary Corps in Egypt but died of wounds suffered at the Battle of Alexandria on 21 March 1801. Abercromby's memorial is located in St Paul's Cathedral, London.
