Focus On Homelessness In London Ahead Of Publication Of The Rowntree Report On Poverty

With the 2023 Rowntree report on poverty due to be published later this week, last year's report found more than one in five of the UK population was living in poverty. Homeless charity Shelter recently stated that one in 58 Londoners is homeless, far higher than the national figure of one in 208. This is, in part, due to the chronic shortage of affordable housing in the capital.
