British Marines Aim Bazooka

(Original Caption) 7/3/1961-Kuwait- Two British marines, armed with a bazooka, dig in near the Iraq border, in preparation for a possible attack. British forces are reportedly anxious to pull out of this oil-rich sheikhdom, since the threat of an attack by Iraq has diminished considerably. Despite optimism that the crisis has passed, however, reports indicate a general movement of armor into southern Iraq. There is still no evidence of an Iraqi withdrawal.
