James T. Fields
James T. Fields (1817-1881) was an American publisher, editor, and a poet. He was a friend of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. He wrote a book of poetry, Ballads and Verses. 'The Ballad of the Tempest' is perhaps the best known. He was also friendly with William Wordsworth, William Makepeace Thackeray, Charles Dickens, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and Herman Melville.
