Siliguri, INDIA: Indian womn Mina Devi Singh (32), sits near her infant twin daughters Laxmi and Saraswati, as her son Etowari, (4), drinks water at a shanty in a slum area in the eastern Indian city of Siliguri, 08 June, 2007. Mina Devi, a widow of a wood factory worker the late Kalu Singh and the mother of four, was caught by local residents the day before trying to sell her one month-old twins for INR 3,000 (USD 75) each. Driven by extreme poverty after her husband's death a month ago, she has since been given shelter at the slum and is being helped by locals to feed the children.
