Hareg Tedesse, a research chemist from Ethiopia takes a look at an Ethiopian plant brought back from Ethiopia in the 18th century by explorer James Bruce, at the Linnaen Society in central London, Tuesday 28 February, 2006. The plant, located by the Royal Society of Chemistry, when mixed with camel's milk saved Bruce's life from dissentry and is thought to have anti-cancer properties.
