TAWI TAWI, PHILIPPINES: Government soldiers display the body of slain Abu Sayyaf leader Ayub Bakil and two of his aides Saturday, 26 June 2004, in the southern Philippine province of Tawi-Tawi. Bakil, tagged by the police and military as behind the April 11 kidnapping of two Malaysian sailors Toh Chiu Tong, 48, and Wong Siu Ung, 52, and Indonesian skipper J.E. Walter Sampel, 53, in the Sulu sea, was killed along with two others in a firefight in Languyan town. However the hostages were not sighted and are still in captivity.
