FRANCE-SCIENCE-HISTORY-FRANCE-KING-HENRI IV
French historian and academician Jean-Pierre Babelon, specialist of French King Henri IV (1553-1610), speaks during a press conference in Paris on February 12, 2013, to present the reconstruction of the head of Henri IV. This reconstruction was made three years after a panel of forensic scientists identified the skull of the king who was murdered at the age of 57 on May 14, 1610, by a fanatic. Scientists headed by France's Philippe Charlier found a common genetic profile between the mummified head of Henri IV and dried blood from his descendant, Louis XVI.
