Dresden - Palais im Großen Garten
(GERMANY OUT) Erwachsene und Kinder erholen sich gleichermaßen am Palais im Großen Garten in Dresden, aufgenommen am 17.02.2008. Der prunkvolle Barockbau, erbaut von ca. 1678 bis 1683 von Johann Georg Starcke, diente dem Dresdner Hof als Lusthaus für Feierlichkeiten. Bei den Bombenangriffen auf Dresden im Zweiten Weltkrieg im Februar 1945 war das Palais zu großen Teilen zerstört worden. Bereits zu DDR-Zeiten war mit dem Wiederaufbau begonnen worden.
