PRODUCTION - 16 August 2023, North Rhine-Westphalia, Hamm: Birgit Arndt holds a bowl with over 20 varieties of different tomatoes in her hands. A visit to Birgit Arndt, who jokingly calls herself a tomato witch. Well over 100 different tomato varieties grow in her garden, and she sees herself first and foremost as a seed saver - and is thus part of a whole series of initiatives that do something forbidden on a small scale and thus stand up for diversity of varieties instead of large seed monopolies.
