Saffron is made exclusively from the stigmas of the flowers, subjected to drying, coming from the cultivation of the bulb-tuber “Crocus sativus”.Crocus is found in different colors: mauve, blue-lilac, yellow and white.Val d'Orcia is a large countryside located in Tuscany, in the province of Siena, east of Mount Amiata.
