The High Altitude Water Cherenkov (HAWC, for its acronym in English) is the gamma ray observatory world's largest, is located 4,100 meters above sea level in the Pico de Orizaba Natural Reserve. Comprised of 300 Cherenkov detectors, the HAWC is the laboratory gamma world's most powerful of its kind. After three years of preparation and four construction in March 2015 HAWC is opened, a scientific infrastructure able to monitor messages the universe and be the observatory high largest energies of our century that is designed to detect gamma rays and High-energy cosmic rays.
