Demonstrators Gather in Parliament Square To Support Guaranteed Legal Status For EU Citizens

LONDON, ENGLAND - MARCH 13: Protesters draped in the European Flag hold placards during a demonstration in Parliament Square on March 13, 2017 in London, England. Labour Party Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer, John McDonnell joined the protest to speak in favour of guaranteed legal status for EU citizens ahead of the likely triggering of the Article 50 bill. Reports suggest that Article 50 could be triggered this week, beginning the process that will take Britain out of the European Union. British Prime Minister Theresa May has pledged to begin the procedure by the end of March. (Photo by Jack Taylor/Getty Images)
