Jury at the Sam Sheppard Trial

(Original Caption) The seven men and five women who comprise the jury at the trial of Dr. Samuel Sheppard are shown as they arrived at court this morning to begin their second day of deliberations. The jury spent the night in a Cleveland hotel. Judge Edward Blythin, who presided at the trial, indicated that the jury may take considerable time to reach a verdict, pointing out that they must sift through more than a million words of testimony taken during the nine-week trial.
