TOPSHOT - US trail runner Ben Dhiman celebrates as he crosses the finish line to win the 23rd edition of the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB), a 174km trail race crossing France, Italy and Switzerland, in Chamonix, south-eastern France on August 29, 2026. Runner-up in 2025, Dhiman took control of the race as soon as he left Les Contamines (around the 35 km mark), before launching into an irresistible solo performance, greatly helped by particularly favorable weather conditions this year. He completed his effort in 18 h 16 min 29 sec, far ahead of the other competitors. (Photo by JEFF PACHOUD / AFP via Getty Images)
