Americans Honor Memorial Day With Parades Across The Nation

NEW YORK, NY - MAY 31: Members of the Boy Scouts participate in the annual Memorial Day Parade on May 31, 2021 in the Staten Island borough of New York City. Dozens of cars, veterans, local politicians and nearly100 motorcycles joined the annual parade in the New York City borough. This year’s event comes after a smaller parade last year which was diminished in size and in person-to-person contact due to the coronavirus outbreak. Across the country, communities have been welcoming back events honoring those who have lost their lives serving in the military after having been scaled back or canceled last year due to COVID-19 pandemic.
