XIAMEN, FUJIAN, CHINA - 2015/05/22: Worker is loading goods on a ferry boat at a freight dock in Kulangsu. Till now, ferry boat is the only transportation mode from Amoi city and Kulangsu island. Kulangsu (Gulangyu) is an island off the coast of Amoy city. After the First Opium War, Amoy became a treaty port under the Treaty of Nanking in 1842, foreign residents from 13 countries came to Kulangsu and established churches, hospitals, schools, police stations, etc. Now the Colonial architectures of that time can still be seen throughout Kulangsu and ready to bid for the world cultural heritage.
