Portrait of Mrs. Ann Eden Woodward

(Original Caption) Mrs. William Woodward Jr., who shot and killed her millionaire husband early October 30th, is shown as she appeared in 1942 when others described her as "the most beautiful girl in radio." Known then as Ann Eden, she was appearing in the radio show, "Lincoln Highway." Mrs. Woodward hysterically told police that she shot her husband in the darkened hallway between their two bedrooms in the belief that he was a prowler at their Oyster Bay estate.
