Massai children crowd a classroom in a small Massai village in the western region of Kenya 26 February 2008. The number of students in this school has doubled as newly arrived displaced Massai have been incorporated into this particular Massai community. The Massai community in Western Kenya has seen their long standing dispute with the Kalenjin tribe over land develop into warfare. The post-poll crisis, which has affected the economy, tapped into simmering resentment over land, poverty and the dominance of the Kikuyu, recently re-eleceted President of Kenya Mwai Kibaki's tribe, in Kenyan politics and business since independence. Hundreds of thousands of people have been uprooted, mainly in the capital's slums and fertile western region. AFP PHOTO/Yasuyoshi CHIBA (Photo credit should read YASUYOSHI CHIBA/AFP/Getty Images)
