Sean Connery and Spider
(Original Caption) Creeping Beauty. Hollywood: Probably the leggiest movie star to hit Hollywood in a big way since the early days of Dietrich and Gable is a Texas-born beauty named "Rosie". Her real name is Dugesiella Lentzi--and she happens to be a real, live tarantula. She's already had bit, (but nobody was bitten), parts in several United Artists' movies. Here, in a scene from, Dr. No, the sinister-looking insect appears to be doing a good job of scaring the daylights out of actor, Sean Connery, who portrays the famous British Secret Service agent, James Bond. "Rosie" was planted on the pillow by Bond's arch enemy--Dr. No. Talk about strange bedfellows!
