Chinese Drag Queens Finding Acceptance

NANNING, CHINA - JANUARY 10: (CHINA OUT, HONG KONG OUT) In this composite, a Chinese drag queen who goes by the stage name of Shuangshuang poses at the Chunai 98 nightclub on January 10, 2015 in Nanning, Guangxi Province, southern China. As views on sexuality slowly evolve in modern mainland China, the club which features a rare showcase of performances by a small group of cross-dressing Chinese men has slowly gained some local acceptance. Many of them come from small cities in other provinces, having left their families in search of acceptance, employment and a sense of community. (Photo by Kevin Frayer/Getty Images)
