The phenomenon of High water is unusual during the summer, as it happened just 4 times in the last 20 years. Venice has been hit last November by one of the highest "high water" of the last years and then by the Coronavirus crisis as most of the tourism has been disappeared, even if now Italy has officially reopened the border and some visitors are starting going back to Venice.
