NORTH KOREA - 2008: Young Pioneers in Pyongyang, North Korea - The North Korean pioneer movement is an organization for children operated by the party. Children enter into the organization in elementary school and continue until adolescence. All the North Korean kids wear white shirts and dark trousers, and this red young pioneer kerchiefs knotted around their necks. Picture taken in a park during the national Day, on april 15. For once, i could freely meet korean people and try to talk to them. This was not easy, as few speak english as they do not watch sat Tv, or have the lastest Us or english DVD or CD.
