Our Japan‑based community of contributors jumped in to this project, excited to deliver the sights, sounds, and flavor of Osaka and Tokyo. 

The Ask

As a distributed team, centralized marketers at Visa headquarters are sometimes challenged to build fresh regional libraries. They needed to bring authentic moments—dinner in Osaka, shopping under neon lights in Tokyo, matcha ice cream with friend—to life.

The Solution

And, with imagery captured by Getty Images photographers and videographers in Japan, they were able to do just that—three briefs and more than 300 curated assets later, the local Japan Visa team has a new library optimized for social, digital ads, and virtually any other use.
