In a statement on Wednesday, the Turkish Red Crescent said the aid included 1,000 sleeping bags and 250 tents for the victims. The planes also brought three volunteers of Turkish Red Crescent and two staffers of Turkish Emergency and Disaster Management Authority (AFAD). Both institutions will work together to distribute the aid. Previously, the Turkish Red Crescent sent $10,000 worth of assistance to the victims.
