The blackback mountain gorilla is seen among vegetation in the forest of Rwanda. He is sitting in sie view, peeling off the barks of a tree branch and eating them. He is looking towards right side of the picture contemplatively. The focus is on gorilla. He is from Kwitonda family. The young male mountain gorilla aged between 8-12 years is called blackback. After that the hair on their backs turns to silver (grey) colour, they become adult and are called silverback.
