Mumbai, Maharashtra, India – March 28, 2017: The festival of Gudi Padwa or the beginning of the New Year is celebrated mostly in the State of Maharashtra, India. In the city of Mumbai, on the day of the festival a huge parade is organized. People of all ages, dressed in traditional Maharashtrian costumes participate in the procession. The rally is led by women, attired in Sarees, riding motorcycles, and are followed by flags bearers, drummers and other traditional performers.
