Sun Shines Over the Guadalupe Mountains - stock photo

Sun Shines Over the Guadalupe Mountains (HDR). A view looking towards the northwest across hillsides and ridges to more distant mountains and peaks while standing at the national park entrance sign. My thinking and composing this image was to use a layered approach with those ridges and hillsides leading up to Guadalupe Peak and El Capitan. The blue skies and clouds would be that color contrast to complement the earth-tones in the lower portion of the image. The rest of the image composition was waiting until the sun was a little bit behind some passing clouds so I could minimize artifacts across my camera lens. I chose to work with Aurora HDR Pro to better bring that complete setting in the image. I later exported a TIFF image to DxO PhotoLab 5 where I did some final adjustments with contrast, saturation and brightness for the final image.
