Rock climbers at Peña Bernal, we see them climbing on the side of the wall from this wonderful monolith. Peña de Bernal or Bernal Peak, is a 1,421 ft tall monolith, one of the tallest in the world, Peña de Bernal is located in San Sebastián Bernal, a small town in the Mexican state of Querétaro. The porphyritic monolith was formed about​ 8.7 million years ago. Rock climbing is an activity in which participants climb up, down or across natural rock formations or artificial rock walls. The goal is to reach the summit of a formation or the endpoint of a usually pre-defined route without falling.
