Ribblehead Viaduct, Yorkshire Dales National Park - stock photo
Ribblehead Viaduct, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is the longest on the Settle to Carlisle Railway Line. The first stone was laid on 12 October 1870 and the last in 1874, at the time it was known as the Batty Moss Viaduct. This view looks along the length of the viaduct towards Ingleborough, the second highest mountain in the National Park.
