People queue on the stairs at the main entrance to worship at the temple.
Ranakpur Jain Temple is one of the biggest and most important Jain temple complexes of India. Located in the Aravalli Hills, the temple has 1444 marble pillars, each intricately and artistically carved, yet no two of them are alike. The temple was built in the fifteenth century. It is covered with delicate carvings and geometric patterns. Despite its remote location, the temple is a popular tourist attraction.
