Bolonia is a village located on the Costa de la Luz in southern Andalusia. The bay of Bolonia with it famous for it's large nice beach. At the western end of the beach is the famous "dune of Bolonia", since 2001 a natural monument. The dune is part of the Parque Natural del Estrecho (Natural Park Road of Gibraltar). The dune is more than 30 m high and 200 m wide.
