Asansor was built in 1907 as a work of public service by a wealthy Jewish banker and trader of that period, Nesim Levi Bayraklıoğlu, in order to ease passage from the narrow coastline of Karataş to the hillside, the elevator within the building serving to carry people and goods through the steep cliff between the two parts of the quarter. Izmir is the 3th biggest city in Turkey and has 2,5 million population. Izmir is located on west Turkey. People is very warm who lives in izmir. There are lots of things for enjoying near the aegean cost. Some of people sunbathing, others resting. Aegean sea is also usable for sea transporting.
