(Original Caption) 6/5/1972-Windsor, England- The Duchess of Windsor, the American-born twice-divorced woman for whom a King of England gave up his throne, walks from his funeral service with Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. Cut off from the royal family in 1936 which made Edward VIII the exiled Duke of Windsor, the Duchess was making her first and probably last public appearance with the royal family in England since that time. She left by air for Paris immediately after the burial.
