Fairfax, Virginia Health Care Workers Get Covid 19 Vaccine Shots
FAIRFAX, VA- JAN 02: Health care workers wait in line (some had appointments after dusk) at the Fairfax County Government Center in Fairfax, Virginia on January 02, 2021. They were in line to get the Covid 19 vaccine shot. About 50 vaccine administors gave Covid 19 vaccine doses to over 4,300 health care workers who are in the 1A category. They were workers who do not have the opportunity to get the shots at the hospital or institution where they are work such as dental hygienists and people who work at long term care facilities. Those wanting a shot (medical workers only, not the general public)signed up online and were then sent a text with a time to show up so as to keep lines to a minimum. The event lasted from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Fairfax County Government Center. Photo by Michael S. Williamson/The Washington Post via Getty Images)
