FULLERTON, CA - MARCH 31: Ultramarathon runners Nathan Longcrier, 41, left, Nicole Matera, 23, are seen through the moisture laden plastic sheeting used to seal off their basement heat chamber. The runners use the heat chamber to train in the 120-degree plus temperatures they'll be facing when they run in the 135-mile desert ultra marathon Badwater One Thirty Five in July. As they exercise the moisture from ambient room humidity along with their perspiration collects on the plastic sheet. ///ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: cs.footrace.0416 Ð 3/31/14 Ð LEONARD ORTIZ, ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER - _LOR9751.NEF - Nicole Matera, 23, and Nathan Longcrier, 41, are ultra endurance runners.
