From left, the future Edward VIII, Mary, his mother and the future Queen of England; Alexandra, Queen of Great Britain; her granddaughter Princess Mary and her daughter Princess Victoria; Czar Nicholas II of Russia; King Edward the VII of Great Britain; Princess Olga of Russia, her mother Empress Alexandra, and her sister Princess Tatiana; the future George V, King of Great Britain; and Princess Marie of Russia. Seated in front are Czarevitch Alexis and Grand Duchess Anastasia, Nicholas and Alexandra's youngest children. The Czar, his wife, and all their children would be executed by the Bolsheviks 9 years later.
