Mose Wright Testifying
(Original Caption) This dramatic courtroom scene shows 64-year-old "Uncle Mose" Wright, Grand-Uncle of murdered Emmett Till, 14-year-old Negro boy, as he stood up in the packed chamber and pointed a finger at defendants, Roy Bryant and John W. Milan. In answer to a question asking him to identify the man who came to his home on the night of August 28 and took young Till away with them, Wright pointed and answered, "There they are." The victim's mother, Mrs. Mamie Bradley, is scheduled to testify today. Photograph by Ernest Withers
