Three Actors Light Cigarettes with Match

(Original Caption) The wartime scarcity of paper book and penny-box safety matches has done a lot to do away with the old superstition about three on a match. With the aid of an old-fashioned kitchen match, of which the WPB says there are 200 billion available, three Hollywood stars debunk an old jinx. They are (left to right): Joan McCracken, Johnny Mitchell and Kitty Carlisle. They'll all be seen in the forthcoming production, "Hollywood Canteen."
